Organization: IIHL, International Institute of Humanitarian Law, is a humanitarian organization recognized by the Minister of Foreign Affairs as an independent and non-profit institution . Established in 1970 with its headquarters in Villa Ormond in Sanremo, it has become a center of excellence in education and research, for the dissemination of international humanitarian law in all its aspects. The liaison office is based in Geneva - Switzerland. Institute's main activity is the promotion and development of international humanitarian law, human rights, refugee law, the rights of migrants and all related disciplines that are exhibited in a lot of activities: training, organization of conferences, seminars and roundtables, research and publications. The Institute works closely with the major international organizations with a humanitarian vocation such as UNESCO and NATO
