Organization: Richmond Fellowship is part of Recovery Focus, a national group of charities highly experienced in providing specialist support services to individuals and families living with the effects of mental ill health, drug and alcohol use, gambling and domestic violence. Duty Station:  Willington, UK

 

Open To: people with experience of working in mental health or similar

 

Timeframe: satisfactory completion of a six-month probationary period

 

Deadline: 31/12/2018

 

Job description: to provide support to people using the Association’s services, supporting them in achieving their goal of living more fulfilling lives whilst maintaining their tenancy & independence in the community. So, whether it’s helping to come up with a personal support plan that will see them achieve their goals and aspirations, developing domestic and finance management skills or accessing work, leisure or educational opportunities. Your empathy, enthusiasm and compassion will have every chance to shine

 

Qualifications:  for this job there are different qualification specify in the document, among the main ones there are:

- at least 6 months experience of working in mental health or similar;
- experience of identifying and coordinating a range of services to meet individual needs;
- experience of supporting individuals to engage with community activities;      

- ability to communicate effectively at all levels and demonstrate an understanding of sensitive and complex issues;

- good interpersonal and listening skills;

- a good understanding of mental health issues and how they affect
the client group.

 

Wage: starting salary is £16,206.00 per annum.
Subsequent salary progression up to a maximum of £16,728.00 per annum
