Duty Station: Lancashire, UK

 

Open To: from anyone interested in the role, but particularly welcome applications from those with a diagnosis of autism or Asperger syndrome

 

Timeframe: 2 days a week during office hours

 

Deadline: 04/01/2019

 

Job description: The National Autistic Society is looking for a volunteer to help with administrative support for the Adult Services teams. The role will be to carry out general administrative tasks to provide support to passionate and committed teams to enable  them to provide an even better service to the people they support

 

Qualifications: skills experience and qualities needed for this position are:
- confident using a computer to answer emails, input data and produce written information;
- maintain confidentiality and data protection within NAS policies;
- be able to volunteer in a team with NAS staff;
- confident using the telephone;
- reliable, consistent, dependable and trustworthy.
Previous experience of admin is an advantage but not essential. A clean driving license 
and use of own vehicle is desirable as the role involves visiting other sites in the area

 

Wage: agreed expenses will be paid
