Organization: The Newcastle Colleges merged to form King's College in 1937. In 1963, when the federal University was dissolved, King's College became the University of Newcastle upon Tyne. The University changed its trading name to Newcastle University in 2006. The Newcastle University have a world-class reputation for research excellence and are spearheading three major societal challenges that have a significant impact on global society. These themes are: Ageing, Sustainability, and Social Renewal. Job Description: Newcastle Law School has scholarships available to international and home/EU students intending to pursue studies at Newcastle University in one of the following programmes:
- International Business Law
- Environmental Regulation and Sustainable Development
- International Law
The following scholarships are available:
- 5 partial awards of £3,000 each to international applicants
- 2 partial awards of £2,500 each to home/EU applicants
- 1 full-tuition fee scholarship to an international applicant
Qualification: The Scholarships are awarded exclusively on academic merit in recognition of academic excellence. Ideal candidates should possess the following qualifications:
- recent law graduates
- undergraduates completing their course before September 2016
- those currently completing professional legal qualifications
- non-Law graduates in a discipline related to the programme
- International and home/EU students
Wage/Fee: From £2,500 to £3,000
